MANILA -- A powerful quake in Luzon on Monday will cause delays in Manila's main airport, but will have no effect on take off and landing, authorities said.

Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Ed Monreal said he ordered an inspection of the runway at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Operations at the LRT lines 1 and 2 and the MRT 3 were suspended because of the quake.
