MANILA - The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) COVID-19 cases in Quezon City has risen to 1,062, the city government said Monday, citing Department of Health (DOH) data.
As of 11 p.m. Monday, the most populated city in Metro Manila reported that 92 patients have recuperated from the disease, while the number of fatalities is at 94.
The number of COVID-19 cases with complete addresses in Quezon City is now at 903, the city government added.
Of this number, the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit has validated 712 cases so far.
Barangay Batasan Hills still has the most COVID-19 cases with 37 active cases, followed by Matandang Balara with 31, and Culiat at 29.
Meanwhile, District 4 has the most coronavirus disease cases among the city's six districts, with 186.
The city government has placed 34 barangays "extreme enhanced community quarantine" due to the number of COVID-19 cases in their areas.
Metro Manila and the entire Luzon, home to about half of the country's 100 million people, is under lockdown until April 30 to contain the pandemic.
The Philippines has so far recorded 6,087 cases of COVID-19, with 516 recoveries and 397 deaths.
