MANILA—A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted Davao Occidental on Sunday night, Phivolcs said.
The tremor happened at 9:34 p.m., 168 kilometers southeast of Sarangani town.
It was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 132 kilometers, according to Phivolcs.
Instrumental Intensities II and I were reported in Malungon, Sarangani and Alabel and Kiamba in Sarangani, and Koronadal City and Tupi, South Cotabato, respectively.
The tremor was expected to cause aftershocks. No damage has been reported so far.
