MANILA—The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Wednesday said it seized parcels containing some P2 million worth of illegal drugs in Pasay City.
Some 0.027 grams of shabu were found inside a Bahrain-bound parcel, which came from Marilao town, Bulacan.
Customs operatives also intercepted a parcel that contained some 0.54 kilogram of ecstasy worth P1.7 million. The package came from the Netherlands and was en route to San Juan City.
Also confiscated were 2 packages of marijuana that were declared as pancake mix and lotion from the United States. It was consigned to a company in Cagayan de Oro.
The bureau also found some 0.0135 kilogram of cocaine inside a Makati City-bound parcel, which came from the United States and declared as toys.
The illicit narcotics were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
