Integrated tax system ng BIR Davao, nagkaaberya

DAVAO CITY - Nagkaaberya ang transaksiyon ng Bureau of Internal Revenue Davao matapos mag-down ang Integrated Tax System nito Lunes.

Alas-9 ng umaga nang mag-umpisang hindi gumana ang sistema ng opisina sa mismong araw ng deadline ng pag-file ng income tax return.

Paliwanag ng BIR Davao, hindi lamang sila ang nagkaproblema sa server nila dahil naranasan rin ito sa iba pang dako ng Pilipinas.

“Sa dami ng nagtransact sa BIR sabay sabay so nag-overload ang system natin, 20 taon na nating ginagamit ang system na iyan at may plano nang palitan,” pahayag ni Atty Jose Edimar Jaen, RDO 113A West Revenue District Officer.

Lahat ng transaksiyon dadaan sa Integrated Tax System gaya ng pagbayad, TIN verification, tax data at registration.

Bumalik sa normal ang transaksiyon ng BIR Davao matapos ang isang oras. Hindi naman humaba ang pila dahila sa aberya.

Dagdag pa ni Jaen, iilan lamang ang pumunta sa araw ng deadline para sa pagfile ng ITR dahil marami na ang nagfile sa nakaraang dalawang Sabado.

Magbabayad ng 25 percent na surcharge at interes ang isang taxpayer na hindi nakapagfile ng ITR sa deadline.
