MANILA - The visiting team of Chinese medical experts on Monday shared their COVID-19 experiences with the University of the Philippines' Philippine General Hosptital (PGH) and National Institutes of Health (NIH).
According to the Chinese Embassy, the Chinese Medical Expert Team introduced the 7th edition of the Chinese COVID-19 Treatment Plan to their Philippine counterparts.
Most of the team members had frontline experience in China's Hubei province, where the disease originated, in the fight against the epidemic, the embassy earlier said.
The PGH, meantime, presented its procedure of diagnosing and treating COVID-19 patients, and the prevention of infections within the hospital. The NIH, for its part, gave a presentation on COVID-19 testing.
The Chinese doctors are among the first 3 teams sent by the Chinese government to Southeast Asian countries.
