MANILA- Outgoing Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa said he would bring his anti-drug fight on his next assignment as Bureau of Corrections chief.

"I will succeed, mark my word. As to how I will do it, just (use) your wild imagination.

(I will not let myself be defeated by drug lords.)

Dela Rosa said he would ask all jailed drug lords to swear by the Bible to stop their illegal activities.

(I will account for all the drug lords and their locations. I will ask them to swear by the Bible to stop doing illegal activities. If they do more crimes, their sins are double--one here on Earth, and one in heaven.)

President Rodrigo Duterte said last year he would move Dela Rosa to the BuCor "because no one has yet succeeded in solving the problems there."
