MANILA -- Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday said that more dormitories for frontliners are being provided in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Robredo's Facebook page listed the places where frontliners can stay during the Luzon lockdown.
A dormitory near Diliman, Quezon City can accommodate people working in East Avenue Medical Center, Lung Center of the Philippines, Philippine Heart Center, and the National Kidney and Transplant Institute.
A dorm facility in Maybunga, Pasig City provided by St. Paul College Pasig Batch '96, meanwhile, can accommodate those working near Pasig General Hospital and Tricity Medical Center.
With the help of The Oriental Hotels and Resorts, frontliners from Legazpi City in Albay, Mariveles in Bataan, and Tacloban City in Leyte can have a place to stay for a while.
Baguio City frontliners will get help to find a place to stay in partnership with the University of the Cordilleras.
Health workers, media practitioners and other frontliners like security guard and other volunteers for COVID-19 response can be accommodated by the dormitories.
