COVID-19 cases in Pasay City rise to 22

The number of cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Pasay City has climbed to 22, its public information office said Tuesday.

The city also tallied one fatality and one recovery.

A total of 38 individuals are under investigation while 182 are under monitoring.

President Rodrigo Duterte has placed the country under a state of public health emergency because of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The health department has tallied 2,084 cases of COVID-19 nationwide, with 88 fatalities and 49 recoveries.
