MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday shared the stage for the third time this week.
Duterte took note of the fact, saying “I love to see my vice president.”
“This is the third time I greeted you, my lady,” Duterte told Robredo at the graduation exercises of the Philippine National Police Academy’s Maragtas Class of 2018 in Silang, Cavite.
Duterte and Robredo first shared the same stage this week at the Philippine Military Academy commencement exercises in Baguio City last Sunday and the 121st founding anniversary celebration of the Philippine Army in Taguig CIty on Tuesday.
Robredo was once part of the Duterte Cabinet, serving as housing czar. She, however, quit her post in December 2016 over policy differences with the President.
Robredo is currently battling an election protest filed by former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr., whose family maintains close ties with the President.
