Phivolcs
MANILA - A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Zambales province Thursday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tectonic tremor occurred at 2:49 p.m. some 30 kilometers southwest of San Felipe town. It had a depth of 25 kilometers.
Instrumental intensity 3 was recorded in Olongapo City while instrumental intensity 1 was reported in Guagua, Pampanga.
Phivolcs said the quake would not cause damage or spawn aftershocks.
