President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday told Filipinos in Myanmar that Vice President Leni Robredo is in a hurry to become president.
This, after he has previously cleared Robredo of her alleged involvement in efforts to destabilize the government.
"Si Leni [Robredo], apurado masyado maging presidente," he said.
Speaking to the Filipino community in Nay Pyi Daw in Myanmar, Duterte also blasted his other critics like Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Senator Leila de Lima.
Last week, Duterte said he does not believe Robredo is involved in an alleged destabilization plot being brewed against him.
However, a few days after Duterte's statement, Robredo released a video criticizing human rights abuses being committed in the Duterte administration's war on illegal drugs.
House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez has also accused Robredo of having "direct involvement" in the impeachment complaint against Duterte.
Duterte is in Myanmar for a 2-day official visit.
