MANILA - One of 2 COVID-19 patients at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital in Manila has been discharged, the hospital's management said Tuesday.
In a report by university paper The Varsitarian, the USTH management said the patient met the Department of Health's discharge criteria.
As of Tuesday evening, there are 187 cases of COVID-19 in the country, including 14 fatalities and 6 patients recovered.
Luzon, including the Southwestern Tagalog Region or MIMAROPA, was placed under a lockdown Tuesday until April 13 in a bid to contain the pandemic.
The enhanced community quarantine means strict home confinement in all households, suspended transportation lines, regulated provision for food and essential health services, and heightened presence of uniformed personnel to enforce isolation procedure.
