Vice President Leni Robredo refuses to trade barbs with Hugpong ng Pagbabago chairperson and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Robredo said insulting words do not help in addressing the problems of the country.

Duterte-Carpio recently called Robredo a "fake vice president" with questionable honesty and whose courage is also fake.

Robredo also believes it's early to talk, or for parties to even make a move for the 2022 president elections.

“In a year maraming puwedeng mangyari. Marami pang dapat pagtuunan ng pansin.” she said.

Robredo earlier criticized President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter for claiming that honesty is not an election issue. Duterte-Carpio then fired back that the Vice President had no right to talk about honesty because of her "relationship with a married man," which her spokesman dismissed as "fake news."
