DAVAO CITY - A dance instructor of President Rodrigo Duterte's sister, Jocelyn, surfaced Tuesday, belying claims he was killed by the alleged Davao Death Squad years ago.

Ruben Baguio posted photos and a message on his social media account Tuesday, a day after self-confessed 'Davao Death Squad' (DDS) leader, SPO3 Arturo Lascañas told a Senate inquiry that he killed a dance instructor, upon orders of then-mayor Rodrigo Duterte. Lascañas however did not identify the alleged victim.

In his Facebook post, Baguio urged the public to stop spreading false news against him.

"Wala na talaga kayo magawa at masabi? Pati nanahimik kong buhay inuusisa nyo!," Baguio wrote.

"I want to clarify sa lahat ng makakabasa sa post ko na HINDI TOTOONG PINATAY AKO! Buhay na buhay po ako. Nagtratrabaho ako ng marangal kaya please lang STOP the issue!, " the dance instructor added.

Baguio also thanked those who expressed concern.

"Hindi ko mawari na madadamay ako sa walang hiyang issue na yan! Pero alam kong andyan c (sic) God na nakakaalam kung ano ang tunay at totoo, inuulit ko nagtatrabaho ako ng marangal at walang halong bahid ng kasamaan," Baguio said.

Meanwhile, the presidential sister posted a photo Monday noon with Ruben Baguio taken during the victory party of the president in Davao City.

She said she was watching the Senate hearing when she heard the allegations of Lascañas about the dance instructor she identified as Ruben Baguio.

"Hahahaha... Buhay na buhay po yong Dance Instructor na sinasabi nila!!! Ang pangalan po niya ay si Ruben Borja Baguio..." she wrote on Facebook.

Jocelyn Duterte said in a phone interview with ABS-CBN Davao that Baguio had been her sole dance instructor since 2010.
