MANILA — Senator Leila de Lima had a furry visitor at Camp Crame on Saturday.
Coco, De Lima's 6-year-old Japanese Spitz, dropped in on the detained senator at the custodial center of the Philippine National Police headquarters.
The dog is said to be De Lima's favorite out of the 13 she owns.
Coco reportedly followed De Lima wherever she went inside the compound.
Among De Lima's visitors on Saturday were former colleagues in the Cabinet of former president Benigno Aquino III, Julia Abad, Brother Armin Luistro, and Dinky Soliman.
De Lima is detained in Camp Crame on illegal-drug charges which she has repeatedly denied.
