MANILA—A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Tawi-Tawi on Wednesday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The tectonic tremor struck at 11:03 p.m. approximately 356 kilometers southeast of South Ubian town with a depth of 311 km.
There were no reported intensities felt in the area.
The Phivolcs said damage to structure and aftershocks were not expected.
