Disturbing the peace
Moro leader Firdausi Abbas said he would form a new MNLF faction to protest the “virtual dictatorship” by the MILF. He also questioned the ability of the MILF to govern in the new autonomous region. This could disturb the peace in Mindanao just as the Bangsamoro Organic Law was ratified and a new Bangsamoro governing body is about to be formed.

In his last speech Monday night, the President gave some "tips" to military and police on staging coups. He chided them for supporting so-called “power movements” led by elites. He also changed his tune regarding leaders of the Catholic Church. Recently, he called on bystanders to maul and steal from rich bishops. On Monday, he appealed to the public not to harm leaders of the Church.
