The rally by Duterte supporters has already stretched into the morning but still shows no signs of waning.

While the number of people gathered at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta has fallen from its peak last night, the hosts at the event said that more people were coming from the provinces.

There was still a large crowd of pro-Duterte supporters carrying banners, flags and placards.

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) estimated the crowd at the pro-Duterte rally last night peaking at 200,000.

The Department of Interior and Local Government meanwhile confirmed that it has sent a memorandum to local government units telling them to support those who want to attend the pro-Duterte rally.

DILG Undersecretary John Castriciones however said that there was nothing wrong with issuing the memo because they just wanted LGUs to support the government's advocacy.

Actress Regine Tolentino led a zumba session for the pro-Duterte supporters gathered at Luneta.

Free food and drinks were also being given away.
