MANILA - Both southbound and northbound lanes of Regalado Extension in Quezon City will be closed to traffic for six hours starting late Monday evening to give way to construction-related activities of the MRT-7.
In an advisory on Saturday, the Metro Rail Transit-7 Traffic Management Task Force said the road's closure from Bristol Street to Commonwealth Avenue would start at 11 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 26) until 5 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 27).
“The affected lanes will be reopened by 5 a.m. of February 27,” the advisory stated.
Motorists are urged to take the following alternate routes:
Vehicles going towards Quezon Memorial Circle:
- Take Quirino Highway and Commonwealth Avenue
- Take Belfast Street and Mindanao Avenue
Vehicles going towards San Jose del Monte:
- Take Mindanao Avenue and Regalado Avenue
The MRT-7 line will run from EDSA-North Avenue to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
