Philippine National Police chief Ronald Dela Rosa on Saturday offered the detention center inside Camp Crame to Senator De Lima, ahead of her impending arrest over alleged involvement in illegal drugs.

Three criminal complaints have been filed at the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court against De Lima in connection with her alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade in the New Bilibid Prison.

Speaking at the sidelines of the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Homecoming, Dela Rosa clarified that there have been no talks yet on any preparation for De Lima's arrest.

"Basta ako I'm just waiting for instructions from the competent courts, kung just in case kailangan nang gamitin ang aming Crame Detention Center," General Dela Rosa told reporters.

The top cop said the facility inside the PNP headquarters will be the "most secured" detention option for the lady senator.

De Lima earlier expressed woes about the possibility of being killed while in detention.

"I am offering that facility para naman mabigyan sya ng complete protection," Dela Rosa said.

"I promise that she will be very safe in Camp Crame," Dela Rosa added.
