PANTAR, Lanao del Norte – Three people said to be linked to an unnamed local terror group were killed during a joint law enforcement operation Thursday morning.
The operation by the town police and 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion led to the death of Omar Daiser and 2 others who remain unidentified.
Seven assorted high-powered guns were recovered after the firefight in Barangay Lumba Punod.
The military, however, has yet to answer allegations that Daiser’s companions were carpenters and not terrorists.
