MANILA - A 4.1-magnitude earthquake occurred off southern Mindanao, an hour after a 6.1-magnitude tremor struck the region, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology
and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The tectonic tremor struck 114 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos town, Davao Occidental with a depth of 7 km.
Phivolcs did not say if this was another aftershock of the 6.1-magnitude tremor.
Damage to structure is not expected, Phivolcs said.
