Four men were killed in separate drug-related shooting incidents in Taguig and Pasig.
Witnesses said a group of armed men barged into a house in Barangay South Signal in Taguig at around 3 this morning and killed 3 people inside.
One of the victims was identified as Edison Maborang, who was a resident of the house and was reportedly a known drug user in the area. Another victim was identified only as Rico John, while the third victim, a woman, had yet to be identified.
The brother of Maborang admitted that his sibling used the room where he was killed as a drug den.
Police recovered a sachet of what is believed to be methampethamine hydrochloride or "shabu" and drug paraphernalia from the crime scene.
Meanwhile in Pasig, a man identified as Rodolfo Verdeflor was shot and killed by four men aboard a motorcycle along Kenneth Road in Barangay Pinagbuhatan.
Verdeflor's mother admitted that his son used to be a small-time drug runner, but added that he had already given up illegal activities when President Rodrigo Duterte assumed office.
