MANILA - Former Pampanga Representative Juan Miguel "Mikey" Arroyo is now in good condition, according to his mother, former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The lawmaker, who visited her son at the St. Lukes Medical Center in Quezon City Wednesday, said Mikey was doing okay.

"He is already okay," said the former President while boarding her vehicle nearby the hospital lobby. Mikey was injured in a vehicular accident Monday afternoon in Bacolor town in Pampanga.

A policeman driving the Honda Civic died in the accident. Mikey was riding a Toyota Hi-lux driven by John Macaraig.

Mikey underwent several tests and Arroyo is hopeful that her son will be out of the hospital soon.

Former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo, in a previous text message said his son was in the passenger's seat when the accident happened. The younger Arroyo went through a series of medical tests, including a CT scan and x-ray. He was accompanied by his father when he was transferred from Mother Teresa of Calcutta Hospital to St Luke's Medical Center.
