CAMARINES SUR - A wheelchair-bound drug suspect was killed in a buy-bust police operation in Barangay Pawili in Pili, Camarines Sur.
According to police, Julian Morallo Sr. aka "White" was on his way home from the cockpit when he allegedly sold government assets a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,000.
Morallo allegedly tried to engage the police in a firefight after he learned it was a buy-bust operation.
He was killed by the police. He received four gunshot wounds in his body.
Recovered from the suspect were 2 sachets of suspected shabu and a loaded caliber .45 pistol.
According to the police, Morallo previously surrendered to authorities on September 14, 2016 and turned over a sachet of shabu and his caliber .45 pistol.
He was allegedly the leader of the Morallo Drug Group, which reportedly operates from Camarines Sur to Albay.
Morallo was the number one drug suspect in Pili town and was the number four drug suspect in the entire Bicol region.
