Cessna plane crash lands in Laoag airport

MANILA, Philippines – A Cessna plane crash landed at the Laoag International Airport on Saturday morning, radio dzMM reported.

The plane came from Iba, Zambales and crash landed on the runway around 10 a.m..

Student pilot Joseph Mijares was manning the aircraft when the accident happened. He survived with just minor bruises.

Initial investigation by the aviation security said the trainer plane skidded and turned turtle after landing on the runway.
