MANILA (3rd UPDATE) - Camarines Norte Governor Edgardo Tallado's wife who was supposedly missing, has finally surfaced. Her reason for leaving their home -- her fear of her husband after she discovered his mistress.

The governor was emotional when he faced the media 2 days ago (Monday).

He said his wife, Josefina Tallado, and her friend Darlene Francisco had been missing since Friday.

By Monday night, the SUV used by Josefina and Darlene was found abandoned in Barangay Napolidan, Lupi, Camarines Sur.

A burned umbrella was found inside the vehicle.

Bicol police launched "Task Force Josie" to focus on the search for the governor's wife and her aide.

But on Wednesday, Josefina and her lawyer Lorna Kapunan went to ABS-CBN and revealed why she went missing.

The cause of her fear -- her own husband.

Josefina said the governor accused her and Darlene of posting on Facebook a naked photo of his alleged 24-year-old mistress.

It's a picture of his mistress, nakahubad and masturbating so 'yun ang matindi doon. Napahiya si governor at napahiya yung mistress so siya ang binintangan," Kapunan said.

Josefina said things got worse when she discovered a sex video of her husband and his alleged mistress.

"Nakita ko pero wala akong hawak. Meron silang sex video ng asawa ko. At mga pictures nila together. Siguro yun ang talagang ikinagagalit niya sa akin," she said.

The governor's wife said she was shocked by how her husband angrily reacted, making her fear for her life.

Kaya siya natatakot because she never seen this in the husband," Kapunan said.

Josefina said she is afraid her husband will frame her for a crime.

Wala naman akong lalaki," she said.

Josefina is also saddened that their only child wouldn't believe her side of the story, which prompted her to seek Kapunan's help.

Pero di pala siya maaasahan," she said.
