CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – A 30-year-old call center supervisor was shot dead while on his way to work on a passenger jeep along the Zapote-Molino Road in Bacoor City, Cavite before dawn Tuesday, police said.

The victim, Robert Ryan Melo, was killed on the spot with a bullet wound in the head, said Senior Superintendent Joselito Esquivel, Cavite police director.

Police said murder charges are being readied against Arvi John Delgra, 27, a registered nurse, who was identified by Melo’s partner from the footage of a closed-circuit TV near the crime scene. A manhunt is ongoing for Delgra.
