MANILA - Police discovered Monday some P1 billion worth of liquid shabu inside a house in Angeles, Pampanga.

The Philippine National Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Group (PNP-AIDG) raided the suspected shabu laboratory at the Villa Dolores subdivision after a two-month surveillance.

The residence is owned by a lawyer who reportedly leased it to several foreign nationals.

The Villa Dolores Homeowners Association said the house was often locked up. They also had difficulty collecting rent from the foreigners who were often not around.

The PNP-AIDG expects the initial estimate for the confiscated drugs to rise after their ongoing inventory.
