MANILA, Philippines - Hundreds of voters at a clustered precinct in Glan Central Elementary School in Sarangani province fear possible disenfranchisement after discovering that the wrong ballots were delivered to their precinct on Election Day.

Members of the Board of Election Inspectors said only one ballot was accepted by the precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machine in the school after discovering that the wrong ballots were delivered.

Poll clerk Rowena Pensader said that after the first ballot, the PCOS machine started displaying a warning command indicating that the wrong ballots were being fed into the machine.

"Itinigil namin kasi hindi na tinanggap ng machine ang mga balota. Yun pala hindi nagmatch ang balota sa machine," Pensader told ABS-CBN News.

Some voters said they will wait until evening to give Commission on Elections a chance to conduct manual elections in the precinct.

A total of 851 voters are affected by the wrong ballot delivery.
