Abu Sayyaf bandits beheaded telecom worker Jeffrey Tagle, police say
MANILA - Abu Sayyaf Group bandits have abducted and beheaded a man in Basilan, police said Monday.
The victim, 23-year-old Jeffrey Tagle, was killed in Brgy. Tuburan proper, Hadji Mohammad Ajul town, in Basilan last May 1.
He was mistaken as military informant, police said.
A source gave ABS-CBN News photos of the victim's remains.
Investigators said the said victim, an employee of a telecommunications company, was on en route to check a cellular phone site when he was attacked.
Police and relatives of the victims have recovered the victim's remains.
