MANILA, Philippines - Three sons of executed overseas Filipino worker Flor Contemplacion were sentenced to life imprisonment after being found guilty of drug pushing.
Judge Agripino Morga of the San Pablo City Regional Trial Court Branch 32 handed the guilty verdict against Sandrex Contemplacion and his twin brothers Jun-Jun and Joel for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Morga also ordered the Contemplacion brothers to pay P500,000 in fine.
The Contemplacion brothers were arrested for selling drugs to a police poseur-buyer in their family's compound in Barangay Sta. Isabel, San Pablo City in Laguna province in October 2005.
The brothers' arrest came a decade after their mother was executed in Singapore for killing a fellow Filipino domestic helper, Delia Magat, and her 3-year-old ward. -- Report from ABS-CBN 'Umagang Kay Ganda'
