Aurelio said Sendong was moving west northwest at 30 kilometers per hour (kph), and is expected to hit Visayas by Saturday, bringing rains to most parts of the region, some parts of Mindanao and Metro Manila.
The weather disturbance was packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kph.
