MANILA - A 68-year-old woman bound for Boracay failed to reach her destination on Thursday after authorities arrested her for allegedly having a bullet in her bag.
Revelina Arimboyutan Combis was prevented from boarding a plane for her flight to Caticlan after members of the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group arrested her for illegal possession of one live ammunition of a .45 caliber gun at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
Combis, a resident of South Poblacion, Dipaculao, Aurora, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. on October 29.
She was supposed to board Philippine Airlines flight PR 2041 bound for Caticlan when Office for Transportation Security (OTS) personnel found 1 piece of ammunition in her hand-carry bag.
A complaint against Combis was filed by OTS personnel at the Pasay City prosecutor’s office for violation of Section 28 of Republic Act 10591, otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act."
