Man shot dead near Taguig polling precinct

TAGUIG CITY - A man was shot dead past noon time in Taguig City on Monday as the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections were being held at a school nearby. 

The body of the still-unidentified victim lay soaked in blood at Maharlika Road, just a few kilometers from Maharlika Elementary School where village elections were held. 

Three empty shells from a .45 caliber pistol were found at the crime scene. 

Based on initial investigation findings, the victim was shot 3 times on the back, head, and neck. 

Police are still investigating if the killing is election-related. 

No witness has surfaced so far.
