Couple found dead in Manila apartment

MANILA – A couple was found dead inside their apartment in Sampaloc district, Manila.

The victims, live-in partners Jeny Beth Bayeng and Donald Victorino, were found dead inside their apartment along Carola Street.

A friend of the couple identified only as Vincent said the victims' remains were already in a stage of decomposition when he discovered them.

Vincent said the victims' employees had asked him to check on their bosses since they could not reach them anymore. The victims were last seen alive last Monday.

Authorities are considering a possible love triangle in their investigation. It was revealed that the two had long been separated from their respective spouses.

They are also looking into the possibility that business rivalry was behind the crime. – report from Francis Faulve, ABS-CBN News
