MANILA - Anti-narcotics agents arrested a female call center agent who was caught selling shabu inside a fast food restaurant in Cubao, Quezon City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency identified the suspect as Jenny A. Tecson, alias Jelai, 27, single, a call center agent and resident of Block 2, Lot 9, Escopa IV, Project 4, Quezon City.
PDEA said Tecson was arrested for "handing over a transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, weighing approximately 175 grams to a PDEA poseur-buyer in exchange for the P500-peso marked bill."
The operation took place inside a fast food restaurant along General Mc Arthur Avenue, Cubao, Quezon City, at around 5:30 p.m. last Tuesday.
Tecson will be charged with violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
