MANILA – Four people were snatched in Muntinlupa City on Sunday, but two of them were eventually released in Laguna while the rest remain in the hands of the kidnappers.
The two victims who were released by their abductors said they were on board a Toyota Vios in Muntinlupa when a vehicle blocked their car and snatched them.
The victims, who had just visited a relative at the New Bilibid Prison, said the armed men took over their car and blindfolded them while they were on the road.
The two were eventually dropped off in Barangay Pulo, Cabuyao, Laguna.
Police launched a pursuit operations against the suspects, who were still holding the two victims – a mother and her two-year-old son.
The suspects abandoned their car in Barangay Canlubang, Laguna and managed to escape with the victims.
Police said they have already contacted the suspects and are now waiting for their response. – report from Joan Panopio, ABS-CBN News Southern Tagalog
