MANILA, Philippines - Two former officials of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) have been placed under the watch list of the Bureau of Immigration.
This stemmed on an order by Justice Secretary Leila de Lima to place former PCSO general manager Rosario Uriarte and former promotions manager Manuel Garcia under the watch list.
Immigration supervisor Ferdinand Aquino said the order was made effective last July 6. It will run for 60 days until further extended by the Department of Justice.
The Senate, which is currently undertaking an investigation, said the PCSO had used large sums of intelligence funds before and during the 2010 elections.
