MANILA - Las Piñas Mayor Vergel Aguilar and his runningmate, Vice-Mayor Luis Bustamante, won fresh 3-year terms after winning the May 13 polls, the Las Piñas board of canvassers said Tuesday.
Aguilar got 153,503 votes while Bustamante got 137,620 votes.
The board of canvassers also proclaimed Las Piñas Rep. Mark Villar as the winner in the congressional race after he got 148,805 votes. Villar is the son of Sen. Manny Villar and senatorial bet Cynthia Villar.
The board of canvassers proclaimed the winners after getting 94.64% of the total votes cast.
