MANILA, Philippines – An American was arrested in an entrapment operation by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) Friday night for allegedly being involved in credit card fraud.

The suspect, Lance David Lomako, allegedly sold credit card information, including the cardholder’s name, credit card number, birth date, mobile phone number and credit limit.

Authorities said Lomako sold around 14,000 card information worth 25 cents each.

Also found in the suspect’s possession was a list of mobile phone numbers from different areas.

PNP said Lomako, who introduced himself as a former US Navy, has been under surveillance since January.

Police warned that credit card information can be used for online purchasing.
