MANILA, Philippines - Two suspected victims of summary execution were thrown on a poorly lighted bridge in Navotas City before dawn Wednesday.

Marvilo Paredes, a watchman and barangay tanod of Barangay Northbay Boulevard South, said he and other watchmen were on patrol when they heard a loud thump at the R-10 Bridge.

"Itinapon na pala dito. Isang sasakyan na hindi ko nakita ang itsura at plaka. Madilim kasi sa lugar," Paredes told ABS-CBN News.

The watchmen ran to the bridge and discovered badly-bruised bodies of 2 men. One of the victims had his face covered with packaging tapes. Ropes were tied around the victims' necks.

Police investigators said that the victims could have been killed somewhere else.

Police have yet to identify the victims. -- Report from Francis Faulve, ABS-CBN News
