MANILA, Philippines - What are President Benigno Aquino III's plans to improve the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 (NAIA-1)? These and more are just some of the top-ranked questions for the President when he is interviewed live on video-sharing website YouTube on Friday, November 4, at 1 p.m.

The YouTube World View website ( reveals that the question that caught the interest of most Filipinos is "NAIA is now tagged by a party as the 'worlds worst airport'. NAIA is named after your late father and a historical landmark so I think it is valuable to you personally. What are your plans (and DOT) to improve its current state?"

The question was sent by user Jesse from Cavite, Calabarzon.

The 30-year-old NAIA was recently ranked the "world's worst airport" by travel website Guide to Sleeping in Airports due to poor facilities, bribery and security concerns. Originally named the Manila International Airport, it is the same airport where the President's father, the late Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., was assassinated in 1983.

Transportation Secretary Mar Roxas earlier said the government is planning a P500-million facelift of the aging NAIA-1 while government mulls moving the country's main international gateway to Clark, Pampanga.

Aquino's live interview on YouTube will be the first by an Asian head of state. Other heads of state who have participated in YouTube's World View series include United States President Barack Obama, United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.

The interview with the President will be streamed live on YouTube on November 4, and will be done in partnership with ABS-CBN's 24-hour news channel, ANC, and its news website,

A live chat will also be conducted on the ANC Live Events page on
