MANILA - Senator Grace Poe said she is close to making her decision whether to run for higher office in 2016.
Poe said she is humbled that Interior Secretary Mar Roxas and the Liberal Party (LP) have left their doors open for her for a possible tandem with the LP standard bearer.
"At some point, we have to make a decision. I'm a little embarrassed about it, but it's a decision that takes time. I'm thankful that they trust me enough to wait," Poe said.
She is also thankful for the recent Magdalo survey showing her as the most preferred presidential candidate, beating Roxas and Vice President Jejomar Binay.
Sen. Francis Escudero was still non-committal about his possible vice presidential bid, saying his moves will depend on Poe's.
