MANILA, Philippines - The Metro Manila Development Authority on Thursday said the Unified Vehicle Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or number coding scheme for all vehicles will not be implemented on July 26, Monday.

In a press release, MMDA Chairman Oscar Inocentes said the lifting of the number coding scheme will allow unimpeded travel for people who wish to watch the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Benigno Aquino III at the House of Representatives.

Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda earlier said July 26 is an ordinary working day and not a holiday.
