MANILA - Elizabeth Zimmerman, the ex-wife of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte, is ready to help the incoming Duterte administration.
Zimmerman, who is battling breast cancer, said she is interested to help cancer patients.
Despite her illness, she joined in the campaign trail to help her ex-husband's presidential bid.
In an earlier interview with ABS-CBN News, Zimmerman said she had already undergone six chemotherapy sessions when she decided to go on the Byaheng Du30 bus tour in the Visayas and Mindanao last April.
"I wanted to help. He is a part of my family still. I want to help my children because he is their father," she said.

Zimmerman earlier revealed she had to ask her daughter, Sara, to run for mayor of Davao so that Duterte could run for president.
