MANILA, Philippines – Vice-President Jejomar Binay on Tuesday said he is willing to sign a waiver opening up his bank deposits to scrutiny.
“Yes, I am willing to sign the waiver,” he said during an interview with reporters upon his arrival from Malaysia and the United States.
Binay said he has nothing to hide and had already declared everything in his statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN).
“OK lang. Wala naman akong tinatago. Lahat ay deklarado and yes, I am willing to sign the waiver,” he said.
The vice-president said his trip to Malaysia was instrumental in commuting the sentences of three Filipinos.
He said he will recommend to President Aquino the opening of a consulate office in Sabah.
