MANILA, Philippines - Ang Kapatiran Party Presidential bet John Carlos de los Reyes officially concedes to Liberal Party bet Sen. Benigno Aquino III on Tuesday.

In a message sent to, de los Reyes said: "I have conceded as to the electoral count but not as the platform I was tasked to push, which is to finally enact the anti-dynasty law and abolish pork barrel."

De los Reyes also clarified that Aquino, current frontrunner of the presidential race, "is not one" with the party in "these radical reforms."

"I will support his government in the other reform efforts we have in common. We continue to fight the good fight!" De los Reyes said.

De los Reyes is trailing far behind in the partial Commission on Elections (Comelec) counts, occupying the last slot.

Aquino leads with 12.5 million votes as of 9:39 am. Tuesday while de los Reyes only gathered a meager 36,169.

De los Reyes had indirectly conceded to Aquino at the beginning of the race when he reportedly recognized the latter's lead.

Aquino, however, ruffled feathers when he questioned AKP's tendency to "disappear" after the elections, an allegation that de los Reyes immediately denied.

Earlier, Nacionalista Party standard-bearer Manuel Villar conceded to rival Aquino.
