MANILA - The Center for People Empowerment in Government (CenPEG) warns the Commission on Elections it could face various legal cases after the May elections.

CenPEG director for policy studies Bobby Tuazon says these cases could involve questions on the credibility and accuracy of the midterm poll results.

He says several groups and candidates may go to court to complain about the absence of a source code and the lack of digital signatures, which are requirements in the Omnibus Election Code and the E-Commerce Act. - ANC
